This notice covers phl.lauttainfo.com. The personal information controller is Alberto R., based in Barcelona, Spain (postal address Travessera de Gràcia 20, 08024; email [email protected]). The site asks you for nothing: there are no accounts, no forms, no newsletter and no comments, and it never collects names, phone numbers, ID details or payment data.
Two laws frame what follows. Readers in the Philippines are protected by the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its implementing rules, overseen by the National Privacy Commission. Because the publisher is established in Spain, the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) also applies to everything the site processes.
Advertising is provided by Google AdSense. Google uses cookies or similar identifiers to serve ads, limit how often you see them and measure their results, and, if you agree, to personalise them. This processing is based on your consent, which you can refuse or withdraw at any time through the consent message or your browser settings; ad personalisation can also be turned off at adssettings.google.com. If audience statistics are added in future, they will come from a self-hosted Umami instance that counts visits in aggregate and sets no cookies.
To deliver each page, the web server and the Cloudflare network in front of it record technical data: IP address, browser type, date and time, and the address requested. These logs are kept only as long as needed to run the site securely and block abusive traffic, which is a legitimate interest recognised by both the Data Privacy Act and the GDPR. They are never used to profile or contact you.
You may ask to be informed about the data held on you, to access it, to have it corrected, blocked or erased, to object to its processing and to receive a copy in a portable format. Write to [email protected]; we reply within 30 days. Data handled by Google or Cloudflare may be processed outside the Philippines and the European Union under the contractual safeguards those companies publish.
If you believe your data has been mishandled, you can file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph) or with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es). Changes to this notice will be posted on this page.
